It is time to re-enroll for the 2023-2024 4-H Year
In order to remain enrolled, you will need to show your family’s intent to participate by logging in to 4-H Online and reviewing, updating and submitting the following information:
Your family's contact and demographic information, including club, school and grade.
Each family member's health and emergency contact information.
Project areas of interest for this coming year.
Parental consent required for youth participating in shooting sports/wildlife programs.
You can log in to 4-H Online here to complete the re-enrollment process. This guide has more information.
If you have any questions about re-enrolling or any other aspect of 4-H involvement, contact your local 4-H staff.

In both documents, the highlighted areas are where amendments have been proposed. The amendments are described in the comment box. Your comments are due by Friday, 20th October, 2023.

4-H Award applications and nominations are now open - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCT.16
- Key Award-The 4-H Key Award recognizes youth for contributions to their club and their community.
- Pat on the Back Award-Presented to outstanding Carver County 4-H volunteers.
- Friend of 4-H Award-Presented to outstanding 4-H business supporters.
Trunk or Treat with Tippy at the Carver County Fairgrounds
Carver County Federation will participate in Trunk or Treat with Tippy at the Carver County Fairgrounds on Sunday October 29, 2023 Time: 2pm-4 pm. Brenda Zachrison will be the lead volunteer representing the Federation. If you are interested in joining our group effort, please email devarati@umn.edu and you will be connected to the group.
If you want to decorate your own trunk and not join in with the Federation trunk, Sign up to bring a decorated trunk to the Carver County fairgrounds here
- Set Up: Grounds will open for vehicle set up at 1:00 pm.
- Carver County Fairboard has prizes for best decorated trunk: 1st place: $75. 2nd place: $50. 3rd place: $25.
- Registration ends at 12:00 pm on October 28, 2023.
- Plan on 500+ ghosts and goblins!

Carver County Day to Dabble
Please share with your non-4-H Families!
The Carver County 4-H Day to Dabble date has been set! Sunday, NOVEMBER 5, 2023. 1-5:00 p.m., location-Central Elementary, NYA.
What is Day to Dabble? Youth (grades K-13) come and explore what 4-H has to offer through a series of free, hands on, interactive learning.
Registration is now open, find all the information on our website. NOTE: Cloverbuds (grades K-2) will have separate sessions, so register accordingly.
4-H is looking for instructors, helpers, volunteers and ideas in any project area!

Carver County 6 in 6 Quilt Club
Learn quilting basics in this 6 week Learn to Quilt Club and create a lap quilt. 6 weeks, 6 fat quarters=quilted lap quilt. Once a month on Sundays, November through April.
